Mauritania Airlines, previously Mauritania Airlines International, is an airline based in Nouakchott, Mauritania. It serves as flag carrier of the country. The company was set up in December 2010 in response to the demise of Mauritania Airways. Currently, it has a fleet of 6 planes that fly to the following destinations on the African continent.

Accommodation
Options are limited as many of the “Western brands” have neglected Mauritania (due largely to the small size of the market). However, a fairly known brand in the region is “Hotel Azalaï”. ($150+ per night). Other good options in Nouakchott are the Hotel Semiramis Centre ville and the Monotel Hotel both in the same price range as Azalaï
