Nothing Beats an Education

May 22, 2018, 11:01 PM

So nothing beats an education… I think everyone needs a university degree, even if you never end up working in the field you studied – just for some critical thinking, I reckon. Here’s a simple example why I think so:

After a loooong day at the office, having eaten only breakfast I get back to the residence wondering what exciting dish the chef has prepared for me… I find, wait for it…🥁… salad… So I call him, thinking he must have stashed the fish and chips or beans with rice somewhere to keep them warm – maybe🤞🏾…

Me: “Hi, is there anything else you prepared in addition to the salad?”

Chef: “No, patron, that’s all I made”

Me: “But didn’t you think I might be hungry having eaten my last meal this morning – and it’s now 20:00”

Chef: “Oh yeah, I didn’t think about that”

Me: *Sigh* “Ok bye”…
